Basically the quest chain is a lot easier! It's pretty much soloable up until the last step or two which take place in Strathlome, so you would either need a group for there or a nice level 70 to escort you. I was happy to see that the quest looked easier than the alliance one, which has you going to Dire Maul, Strathlome and Scholomance!
I don't have much gold over on the Horde yet however, and so I thought before I started the chain I should add up how much it was going to cost me to make sure I didn't end up half way finished the quest and broke! It looked like it would be about 465g without the cost of farmable mats (6 arcanite bars, 40 runecloth, 10 sungrass, 5 darkrunes, a Pristine Black Diamond and a Azerothian Diamond).
I have done a fair bit of pvping with my Horde paladin, and had quite a few marks saved up, so I decided to look into the available pvp mounts and the cost of training. I ended up getting the Horn of the Frostwolf Howler for 50 Alterac Valley tokens (I had 80 saved up) and I bought the riding skill in Orgrimmar (I was exaulted with them from doing Alterac Valley), so the riding skill only cost me 480g.
