WotLK - Warcraft Obsession Renewed...

Oh Blizz, you bastards! Finally I had gotten away from World of Warcraft! I was down to playing maybe a few hours a week at most, and now... Well, now I look like a crack addict again with these epic bags under my eyes!! 36 hour play sessions, 6 characters to level from 70-80, a Deathknight to get to 80, professions to level to 450 and those new achievements too!!! World of Warcraft has gone from being slightly boring, but still enjoyable at times, to ALL I have been doing!

I started out WotLK by making a Deathknight... like a couple other million people. I was hooked right away! They are like a strange combination of a warlock, warrior and rogue sort of, and they have NO downtime what-so-ever! I got to 64 on my Deathknight over the first weekend (I went blood spec with mine, no fun ghoul, but man can I dps!), but then my leveling partner had to go out of town for the week so I had to put her aside and decide which of my 70s to level to 80 first. I decided on my pally, because she has been my main forever and they made her own in that last patch before the expansion. (She's holy/ret, kinda shockadinish, probably a lame build, but it works for me!) I like the achievements when leveling, it encourages me too look around a new zone to get the exploration one and the quest achievement for a zone lets me know if I am missing a camp of quests or when I am almost finished.

The quests in Northrend so far have been amazing! They are actually fun and none of them have been difficult so far (I am currently level 76). As a pally I can solo any two man quests and some of the three mans, so it has all been pretty easy! Each level is taking approximately 8 hours right now, but I am guessing that will be significantly shorter on my next character through Northrend when I actually know how to do all the quests!

I will update more when I actually reach 80 on my Paladin and my Deathknight, but for now that is all I will say, because I really want to get back to playing!!!

Glad to have you on board, I was worried you may still be Internet-less and not able to play. :)

I've been playing with my brother and sister-in-law, who had to get their characters up to 70 before we could check out the new content. But we have fun, and our team (prot-paladin, disc/holy priest, fire/arcane mage) is powerful and flexible enough to handle anything. If we only had a few more players on the server we'd be able to do 5-mans, but most of our other friends are Horde players.

Good luck and have fun!

to be honest i think WotLK is a more logical step forward than burning crusade was even tho i liked BC aswell. I think quest wise northerend is set out very well and is by far the best world of warcraft area so far.

I got my internet back the day before I got the game, hehe. I so was NOT missing WotLK! Although I have been totally distracted from the game again and haven't played this week, I'm expecting to get some good Deathknight time in this weekend! Northrend does rock and I wanna get there with my DK sooooo bad =D
